"Hola Frida, Mandi Tina, la fotògrafa, la pintora... y el muralista también " Udine, Italy

This is the title of the theatre event that the Municipality of Precenicco (Udine) has put in the spotlight to combat violence against women on the International Dedicated Day. It tells an exciting story that unites, in the roaring events of the 1920s, Tina Modotti, considered one of the greatest photographers of the early 20th century, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Their meeting resulted in a friendship that turned into an all-encompassing love, a great passion for political struggle and the triumph of their artistic sensibility.

The multimedia show will feature staged readings, live music, photographs, paintings, films d' antan and pleasant emanations of scented essences.

Conceived by Susanna Piticco and Vicky Vicario, who are responsible for the script and direction and give voice to the two protagonists;  the performance also features Tullia De Cecco, narrator; musicians Marco De Biasio, Peter Diaz Castillo, Riamondo Miotti, Fabio Moreale, Marco Zancani; Elisabetta Matellon for the multimedia project; and Dennis Mazzolin for sound and lighting.

Precenicco, Friday, Nov. 25, at 8:45 p.m., at the Municipal Auditorium.
