Former florist used buttons, brooches, and pearls to recreate Frida' s face

Joanne O'Neill, 60, of North Lanarkshire, Scotland, has created about 20 pieces of artwork, including works featuring David Bowie, Frida Kahlo, and Jimi Hendrix, always trying to include a component that is "fitting for the person.

After making wedding bouquets out of jewelry and brooches for a period, she remarked, "I was left with all weird bits and pieces when it went out of fashion."
What am I going to do with this, I wondered? And it developed from there when I began by producing simple things, like a Christmas tree.
Since then, she has created about 20 pieces of art, including works inspired by David Bowie twice, Frida Kahlo, and Jimi Hendrix, and she always attempts to include a component that is "suitable for the person."
She claimed that Frida Kahlo was one of her "favorite" subjects to paint, and "tons of broken flowery jewelry" that Ms. O'Neill had accumulated helped the painting.
I made an effort not to comfort her because that wasn't how she appeared. I tried to mimic her appearance. I had a ton of broken floral jewelry, so I reasoned that I should put them in Frida Kahlo's hair since I was dressing as her.
She continued by saying that when she draws faces, she begins with the eyes. She explained, "If you get the eyes correct, you kind of get the look.
