A mural dedicated to Frida will be unveiled in Pontedera (Pisa, Italy) on Aug. the 6th

The work was realized by the Italian artist Giulio Noccioli and represents a woman with an independent and passionate spirit, unconventional and a lover of life.
The initiative, sponsored and supported by the municipality, was proposed by the association "Diritti e Società Toscana onlus", with its Pontedera articulation, and is part of a larger project entitled Women for Women. In essence, the neighborhood has been involved and sensitized precisely on gender policies aimed at women, and the mural is one of the stages of a journey that has also included the inauguration of a red bench on the Avenue and the implementation of a questionnaire circulated among residents.
A 360-degree work that, next Saturday, will find an implementation, clearly visible, in this mural dedicated to the figure of Frida as painter, artist and female icon. With a message summed up in Frida Khalo's own phrase in the work, "Fall in love with yourself, with life and then with whoever you want."
