The collection released through this partnership features 34 works by renowned 20th-century artists such as Henri Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Frida Kahlo, and Piet Mondrian.
Iconic pieces including "Femme au chapeau (1905)" by Henri Matisse, "Guardians of the Secret (1943)" by Jackson Pollock, "Frieda and Diego Rivera (1931)" by Frida Kahlo, "The Flower Carrier (1935)" by Diego Rivera, "New York City 2 (1941)" by Piet Mondrian, and "Display Cakes (1963)" by Wayne Thiebaud.
Over 115 countries worldwide offer the Samsung Art Store, an exclusive art subscription service for Samsung TV. It offers a huge collection of more than 5,000 pieces by more than 800 artists thanks to partnerships with important organizations like Art Basel, the Musée d'Orsay, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Christopher Bedford, Director of the Helen & Charles Schwab Foundation at SFMOMA, declared, "The partnership with the Samsung Art Store opens a new chapter for engaging with modern art. Thanks to innovative technology, people who cannot visit SFMOMA in person can experience these works, and I am delighted that this provides an opportunity for art to enrich daily life."
