A watch honoring Frida Kahlo's life and career was launched by Bulgari a few months ago

Two limited-edition timepieces honoring Mexican artists Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo were launched by Bulgari a few months ago.
A new Tubogas Manchette watch was chosen to honor Kahlo's unwavering spirit and her capacity to turn hardship into art. The Tubogas cuff watch, which is a world premiere, is made of solid yellow gold and was inspired by a model from the 1970s. The new cuff pays homage to a classic Bulgari design, the Tubogas, by artfully coiling around the wrist with its slinky, tapering links. Bulgari used the flexible, spiraling Tubogas bracelet for its Serpenti bracelet watch in 1948. The bracelet was named after and inspired by the woven metal coils of an ordinary gas pipe.
The geometric links that make up the 135mm yellow gold single-wrap Tubogas bracelet are engraved with text taken from Beatriz Alvarado's book "Diarios de un accidente", which describes "more than a thousand ways to kiss."
Bulgari's incredibly thin 40mm Octo Finissimo in yellow gold is the piece honoring Diego Rivera.
