Frida (F.R.I.D.A.) Fest in heart of downtown San Antonio, Texas US on Nov. 15 and 16

Frida (F.R.I.D.A.) Fest is a two-day, family-friendly celebration honoring Frida Kahlo's life and legacy. A handcrafted artisan mercado with more than 60 vendors, art galleries, photo opportunities, a fashion show, music, cultural performances, culinary demonstrations, artist panels, and real Mexican food are all features of the community event.
Since its founding in 2016, Frida Fest has been an annual community event that aims to celebrate and empower Fabulous, Respectful, Independent, Determined, and Assured women—the spirit embodied by individuals such as Gloria Anzaldúa, Chavela Vargas, Selena Quintanilla, and Frida Kahlo.
This year marks a momentous occasion as the festival moves to a new historic venue, Maverick Plaza at La Villita Historic Arts Village, in the heart of downtown San Antonio.
