"Frida Kahlo, The Musical: The Life of an Icon" is a journey through time, from 1918 to 1954, which will take us through the most relevant moments of Frida's life.
Frida Kahlo's style was instantly recognizable to anyone who saw one of her paintings. It's clear how she used fantasy and surrealism to transform her pain. But "Frida Kahlo, The Musical" invites you to see the artist beyond the canvas in order to understand her life behind the art.
The audience will take a journey through Frida Kahlo's life from 1918 to 1954 in this musical, experiencing the pivotal events that shaped her and inspired her most well-known pieces.
The play will describe how the painter transformed her own story into art, contrasting the post-revolutionary setting with the artistic community.
