Frida and other artists inspired small works of art made of pastry decorated with royal icing

From September 20 to 22, 2025, the halls of the Aurum in Pescara will host Cookie Canvas - Royal Icing Cookie Exhibition, the first exhibition-event in Italy entirely dedicated to the technique of decorating cookies with royal icing.

Promoted by the DolceFlo Cookie Planet association, the initiative aims to promote an artistic pastry technique that combines manual skill, precision and creativity, transforming a simple shortbread biscuit into a small work of art. Royal icing, with its delicate texture and the possibility of being modelled into infinite details, allows for the creation of surprising decorations.

The exhibition will present creations inspired by famous artists such as Klimt, Van Gogh and Frida Kahlo, offering a journey through shapes and colours that brings art and pastry-making into dialogue.
