The play "Frida, una bomba avvolta in nastri di seta" evokes Frida's life through her emotions and the transposition into narrative of some of her most significant works.
A text inspired by various writings and research on Frida Kahlo and a careful analysis of the emotions and thoughts underlying her works, all rendered in the form of a theatrical narrative.
A monologue that goes beyond the dimension of monologue and becomes a pictorial work on stage, thanks to the sets designed by Luca Altamura and Paola Muccio, the costumes by Laura Consolini and the make-up by Anna Penazzo, inspired by Kahlo's paintings. All this is enhanced by original Mexican music from the time, the result of musical consultation by Pablo Sartori and performed live on stage by Antonio Canteri and Claudio Manzini.
"In her own words, a tribute to her, a gift to me". Laura Murari
