The festival Il Libro Possibile transforms every year first Polignano a Mare and then Vieste into an open-air agora of ideas—where books, dialogue, culture, and stunning maritime landscape converge for days of enriching encounters.
The festival brings together 350 protagonists: Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winners, scientists, journalists, artists, entrepreneurs, philosophers, magistrates, athletes, and actors—representing a wide spectrum of knowledge and perspectives.
It covers indeed a diverse program—from literature and current affairs, to science, technology, environment, art, and social issues—through panels, lectures, workshops, readings, and special “English Night” events for international guests.
For its 24th edition edition Il Libro Possibile 2025 has chosen as its common thread the title of Frida's latest painting and of the Coldplay song "Viva la Vida"? Why?
"A hymn to life, in such a fragile time, but above all an invitation to embrace culture as an exercise in resistance and freedom — to not give in to fear, to oppose brutality with beauty, and resignation with imagination." — said director Rosella Santoro.
9 - 12 July Polignano a Mare
22 - 26 July in Vieste.
