"Frida Letters", a new monologue with music by the Italian actor Daniele Monterosi
30 June 2025
"Frida Letters" is an intimate and emotional journey into the life of Frida Kahlo told through her personal letters.
In this performance Daniele Monterosi blends narration and music, guiding the audience through the thoughts, passions and struggles of an extraordinary woman, capable of transforming pain into art and fragility into strength. Accompanied by the ancient and vibrant notes of a Mexican guitar by Marco De Santis, the show gives voice to an intense, alive and surprising Frida.
A Frida capable of still speaking to us today, with all her strength and all the beauty of her poetry.
