"Frida Kahlo: The Immersive Biography" in Mexico City from tomorrow 25 June

24 June 2025

This exhibition is as an ode to the individual rather than just a display of her creative output. In addition to her 150 paintings, Frida's political activism, sense of national identity, and radical beliefs have made her a symbol of Mexicanness.

Visitors will delve deeper into lesser-known aspects of Frida's life during the tour, including her friendships, travels, motherhood, and passions. In a 1,000-square-meter space filled with screens featuring amazing images, animations, and artificial intelligence-powered interactive moments, they will embark on a sensory adventure into the artist's universe.

Additionally, they will see digital installations that depict every stage of Frida's life by fusing art and technology. You can also engage with her art and style by coloring her paintings in your own way and seeing how they become an amazing mural, or you can turn a picture of yourself into a painting using recognizable elements of her work.

From 25 Jun to 30 Sep

Location: Laguna de Términos 260 (Laguna de Términos 260, Mariano Escobedo, Ciudad de México, 11310)
