"Diego y Frida: Un Universo", new immersive exhibition in Mexico City opens today 6 June

An exhibition with all of Frida and Diego's works gathered in one place, projected in a large format allowing people to explore every vibrant detail of their brushstrokes.
What's more, the creators of this experience have excelled, bringing these masterpieces to life through animation. The elements of the paintings move along the walls, immersing the attendees in their captivating atmosphere.
Thanks to immersive large-format and 360-degree projection technology and virtual reality headsets, attendees will be able to enjoy the brushstrokes of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo while exploring their tumultuous relationship.
People we'll see everything from Frida Kahlo's self-portraits, with surrealist narratives that recount her pain and sadness, to Diego Rivera's murals that made him so popular in the political sphere of his time.
All accompanied by a special soundtrack created by Chacho Gaytán to fill each space with emotion.
Thanks to the virtual reality experience people will take a journey through the imagination of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo while exploring their most important works and learn never-before-seen facts.
