Accompanied by a specially composed soundtrack, this immersive exhibition offers a vivid homage to Frida, capturing the intensity of her bold, colorful artistic world.
More than just a conventional exhibition, Viva Frida Kahlo delivers a rich sensory and emotional journey. Blending visual art, sound design, dynamic lighting, and immersive storytelling, it fully transports visitors into Frida’s unique universe. Deeply personal, the experience touches on universal themes like identity, gender, motherhood, illness, death, love, and solitude.
This second edition in Brussels introduces several exciting additions:
- A completely reimagined exhibition path, now featuring 10 of Frida Kahlo’s most iconic works that enhance the 360-degree immersive projection experience.
- A partial reconstruction of the renowned Casa Azul garden—the vibrant blue house where Frida lived and created—offering a glimpse into her private creative world.
- A colorful, floral-themed photo area for a fully immersive visual moment.
- An enriched, engaging multilingual narration that guides visitors through her life story, personal diaries, artistic legacy, and unforgettable quotes.
