"Diego y Frida: Un Universo", new immersive exhibition at the Librería Porrúa in Mexico City
06 June 2025 | 15 September 2025Thanks to immersive large-format and 360-degree projection technology and virtual reality headsets, attendees will be able to enjoy the brushstrokes of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo while exploring the tumultuous relationship these artists had.
It is an unprecedented immersive project, where through more than 300 photographs of the works of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, the public will be brought closer to the life and creative universe of these incomparable creators. Using the most modern video-mapping technology, the artworks and brushstrokes of their most iconic pieces will come to life through this digital exhibition, with pieces ranging from miniature to monumental. This unique and fascinating exhibition conveys everything: the beauty, emotion, and transcendence of the works of Frida and Diego, which continue to live on and impact audiences today.
All this is accompanied by a unique soundtrack composed by Chacho Gaytán to evoke strong feelings in each space.
